Friday in NYC

On before 12am, yay~

Today I got up late as usual, waited ages, then went to the Museum of Natural History. It was neat. We saw some fake animals, pre historic tools and other things from... back then? There was a "Hall of Human Origins" with old hominids and stuff about them. There was also a meteorite hall, which had lots of meteorites. They also had the biggest meteorite on display in a museum! I took pictures, of course. I'll upload them eventually...
We went to the hall of ocean life, which had a big blue whale (fake of course) in the middle! They had other stuff there too, like a giant squid attached to the head of a whale. Pretty impressive. We also saw dinosaur skeletons! There we lots, and some you could touch! Cool. I can't remember all the dinosaurs, but there was a T-rex, Stegosaurus (gao gao stegosaurus), Triceratops... There was a Stegosaurus plate you could touch, you know, the things that stick up off its back. I'll put a picture up eventually. There were some ooolllddd animal skeletons too.
Mom, Ana and I got those big pretzels from a stand (lots of those and other snack stands in Manhattan, they're everywhere!) and we went on a taxi. I was going to my freind Ambika's place. She's a friend of mine from when I was in pre-school, and we got to meet up! The taxi driver also had an Umbreon plushie, just like mine! It was a little worn out though.
Anyway, we got to Ambika's apartment, and I saw her, yay. I showed her the pictures I took, then we went out. We walked to Central Park (not as far away as I expected), and I saw the park. We then went to "California Pizza Kitchen", and had a pizza for dinner. Yum. Went then walked back to her place, and my mom came to pick me up.
We then went to Rockefeller University, to the "Faculty Club"? That's the place where my mom used to work at, and also the place where I went to pre-school. There were some little Serbian kids (though one is apparently half a year younger than me, though he looks 10) who spoke in Serbian to each other and English. I joined in with them as they played hide and go seek tag. We ran a lot. I mean A LOT! Sprinting sometime too! I got really tired, and another girl joined in. She's 12, and I think her name is Katarina. She's really tall! Taller than me! Anyway, after running around with the 4 little kids (they were between 9 and 13, but still) and one bigger girl, I saw down and drank some Sprite. Refreshing~~ Katarina came, and we talked for a while and tried to hear each other over the noise of the other people there. A bunch of guys started cherring cause the Yankees won some baseball game being displayed on the TV there.
We left at sometime after 11! We went there sometime between 8 and 9, so that was a while, Katarina and one of the other kids live in the same building as the one we're staying at, and I think we're going to a barbeque on Sunday.

Phew, that was tiring! We walked around the museum for 3 hours(and still only saw a little of it), I walked more, and then ran around for an hour! I'd say that's decent exercise.
I think we're gonna do some shopping tomorrow. I hope to bring back delicious snacks from America (especially sunflower seeds!!), buy cheap souvenirs, get the other FMA artbook from Borders and start collecting the FMA manga(!!), and... that's it.

Hope everyone everywhere is doing great!! Only a few more days here.
